Stainless steel has become the de rigueur finish for kitchen appliances within the past ten years. Stainless stainless stainless steel. I’ve got it, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it. It’s elegant and sleek.
But it’s not the only fish from the sea. As a verified color lover, I have to admit I have discovered my eye wandering recently. I adore my stainless, but you can find all these bright, vibrant and shiny fresh finishes out there: blues and yellows and reds. Some are industrial and modern; a few are throwback and vintage. All of them are really, really adorable.
I mean, a canary-yellow cooker? It’s difficult to complete with that.
